7th Annual Black Heritage Concert Is Feb. 25

Minister Marcellus Barnes and Sounds of Unity present the seventh annual Black Heritage Concert on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. The concert will be held at Highland Park Baptist Church at 1907 Bailey Ave. Doors open at 5 p.m. and admission is free.

Organizers said, "Join us for an evening of worship and praise as we celebrate our heritage with song, dance and dramatic presentations. We will honor Chattanooga’s own Harold K Lester of Orchard Knob Baptist church with the Trailblazer Award."  

Special guest for the evening will be Grammy and Stellar Award nominee, James Bignon.

Signal Mountain Baptist Children's Choir Presents Program Sunday

Hamilton County School Superintendent Rick Smith has notified Tom McCullough that he is suspended from his job as principal of Signal Mountain high school and middle school.
