Joan Ann Reid, 51, of Dalton, GA, died on Tuesday January 8, 2013 at the Hamilton Medical Center. 

Joan was born January 12, 1961 in Denville, NJ; and was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Wilson. 

She is survived by her parents, Helen and David Phelan of Wharton, NJ; son, Christopher Thomas Trosky of Wharton, NJ; daughters, Danielle Kappes, Cynthia Howard and Kelly Frye of Dalton and Amy Howard of Chatsworth; brothers and sister-in-law, Glen and Jane Trosky of Bud Lake, NJ, Kenny Trosky of Binghamton, NY and Wesley Phelan of Wharton, NJ; sisters and brother-in-law, Anita Casazza of Mt. Olive, NJ and Mary and Chuck Mower of Hopatong, NJ; and nieces and nephews. 

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Joan Ann Reid will be held Friday, January 11, at 5 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with George Cross officiating. 

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 3-5 p.m. Friday, January 11. 

Arrangements are by Ponders Melrose Chapel.

Bruce Burton Wilson

Bruce Burton Wilson, 59, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 29, 2016. A native of Canton, N.C., he became a Christian at an early age in vacation bible school at North Canton Baptist Church. Daniel Lowell Brady

Daniel Lowell Brady, 57, of Hixson, died on Saturday, May 28,2016 at his home. Danny was a longtime resident of Chattanooga and was employed with West-Rock (formerly Rock-Tenn) for the past 39 years. Stone Domestic Assault Case Postponed Until Aug. 9

The case in which Bobby Stone is charged with domestic assault against his wife, advisor to Mayor Andy Berke Lacie Stone, has been postponed until Aug. 9. Officials said there will be no further action until the TBI completes its investigation.  The case had been set Tuesday morning before general sessions court Lila Statom.
