LaToysha “Big Long” Waltina Long, 36, died on January 11, 2012 in Chicago, IL.  

She was employed at the Chicago Board of Elections.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Doris Long, Sr.; brother, Walter Long, Jr.; sisters, Hurdiecene Long-Bray and DeShannon “2-sweet” Long; grandmother, Hazel Baskin; nephew, Donte’ Long.

Survivors include siblings, Vatina Hazell Long, JoAnn Trice, Jeanetta Graham, Christopher Long, Derrick Long and Jerry Cooley, Roger (Margaret) Long; nieces, Jimia Doris Moore, Christina and Caniya Long; nephew, LaDarren Long; great-nephew, LaDarren Long, Jr.; a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at noon on Saturday, Jan. 19, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home with Reverend Wayne Johnson and other ministers officiating.

Eric Lee Marsh, 43, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, August 28, 2015 in a local hospital.    He was a 1990 graduate of Howard High School and worked for Nutrition Services at Memorial Hospital for 10 years.  He was a member of Church of The First Born and worked with the religious organization “Smoking for Jesus” which served meals to those in need.  ... Mississippi Couple Injured In Tragic Wreck At Ooltewah Exit Asking $1.5 Million In Damages

A Mississippi couple who said they suffered severe injuries in the June 25 wreck at the Ooltewah exit of I-75 in which six people were killed are suing for $1.5 million.
