Friend Festival Will Be Sunday At Signal Mountain Baptist

The Friend Festival will be held at Signal Mountain Baptist Church, 939 Ridgeway Drive, Signal Mountain, on Sunday, at 6 p.m. in the Christian Life Center. There will be door prizes, chili dogs, a cake walk, inflatables and a message of hope from Billy Graham. 

At the 11 a.m. worship service, Dr. Steven Wright will speak on "Paul's Story," with text from Acts 26:9-23.

Charles Hosley, 19, Shot On Sylvan Drive During Drug Deal And Later Dies; Involved In Crash On North Market Street

Charles Hosley, 19, was shot and killed Monday night. The preliminary police investigation indicates that during a drug transaction at 310 Sylvan St., a fight broke out and Hosley was shot once.  Hosley then left in his vehicle later wrecking in the 700 block of North Market Street.  One other person involved in the crash was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. ...
