Carroll Henry

Carroll Henry, 91, of Chattanooga, died on Thursday, January 31, 2013.

Mrs. Henry was born in Dallas County, Ala., to Allen and Eleanor Young. She was a long standing member of Northside Presbyterian Church.

She retired from Chattanooga Public Schools as a secretary at Sunnyside Elementary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dunlap Henry; sons, George, John and James Henry; grandson, Corey Heath Henry; and siblings, Mary Young and Jenny Pace.

Surviving are her grandsons, Joseph Henry and John Dallas (Darla) Henry; great-grandchildren; and nephew, William (Dee) Pace.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Feb. 2, with a noon funeral service at the funeral home.

Graveside services will follow at 2:30 p.m. CST Saturday at Edgemont Cemetery in Anniston, Ala.

Memorial donations may be made to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen, 727 East 11^th Street, Chattanooga, Tn. 37403.

Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist, 404 South Moore Road.
