James "Jim" Hilton Kroeger, 64, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in a local hospital.
He was born on June 8, 1948, a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and graduated from McCallie in 1966. Jim was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving aboard the USS Johnston during the Vietnam War. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Psychology from UTC in 1974. Jim then obtained his Master's of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology in 1977.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hilton E. Kroeger, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Harper Kroeger; daughter, Megan Kroeger Lindsay and her husband, Brian, Asheville, N.C.; and mother, Margaret McDonald Kroeger.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, in the funeral home chapel.
