Dorotha Lee Walker “Dot”, 90, of Rossville, died on Monday, February 18, 2013.  

Ms. Walker had lived most of her life in Rossville where she was a faithful worker and volunteer at the John Ross House having decorated for the holidays and cleaned for many years. She was known in Rossville as the “Duck Lady”. She retired in 1988 from DuPont with over 20 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pink and Ella Walker; sister, Erma Sisson; and brothers, Joe and James Walker.

Survivors include her sons, Ardell (Charlotte) Millard and Raymond (Kathy) Christison; brothers and sister, Ray (Betty) Walker, Billie Hughey, and Barry (Mary Jane) Walker; grandchildren, Mark, Melissa, Nancy, David and Bo; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 20,  at noon at the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with her brother, Ray Walker officiating.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
