Freedoms Foundation Holds Awards Ceremony

The Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge held its local membership meeting and awards ceremony on Saturday at Westview Elementary School.

The Foundation honored the following people for their contributions toward the goals of the organization and their work in the community:

Distinguished Chapter Member & Spirit of 76 Award - The Honorable Larry Henry

Distinguished Citizen & Lifetime Achievement Award – The Honorable Harold Coker

Distinguished Military Service Award – Admiral Vance Fry, retired

Distinguished Teacher/Educator Award – Dr.

Lucien Ellington

Distinguished Teacher/Educator Award – Dr. Bill McClay

Distinguished Volunteer Organization Service Award – Teresa Dinger, Siskin Rehabilitation Hospital

Distinguished Volunteer Organization Service Award – Vincent Oakes, Chattanooga Boy Choir
