Roger Edward Philpott, 98, of East Ridge, died on Sunday, February 3, 2012 and joined his beloved wife Ernestine, who preceded him in death in February, 2012.
Mr. Philpott was a faithful member of East Ridge Presbyterian Church and he was retired from Standard Coosa-Thatcher with 45 years of service.
Surviving relatives are his nieces, Dot Holcomb and Carolyn Benton, nephew, Mike Philpott and other nieces and nephews and cousins.
Graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8, at Lakewood Memory Gardens-South with Reverend J.R. Caines officiating.
