Eliza Fields, 80 of Pikeville, TN, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2013.
Eliza was of the Church of God faith and was a member of the Shady Vale Church of God. She worked at the FCF Inn for 20 years as a cashier. Her greatest joy was spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
Eliza was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Eula (Ferguson) Solomon; sons, Jerry and Wendell Eugene Wooden; and her brothers, Jimmy and John Randell Solomon.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Fields; son, Edd (Jacquelynn) Wooden; grandchildren, Wendy (Martin) Wooden, Marcus (Emily) Wooden and Tim (Jessica) Churches; great-grandchildren, Brady, Jake and Gus Wooden, Karter Churches, Kaylynn Churches and Charlie-Ray Martin; daughter-in-law, Delores Myers; several in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews; a host of friends; and two special friends, Louise Patterson and Mary Wilson.
A Celebration of Eliza’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday March 28, at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Brayton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends beginning at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
