Harrison Bay State Park will be hosting the Harrison Bay Birthday Celebration Sunday at the Rec Hall on the park grounds.
The guest of honor will be an original member of the CCC camp who helped with the construction of the park prior to serving in the South Pacific during WWII.
The program will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will include a timeline of Harrison Bay State Park, the Tennessee State Parks 75th anniversary trailer, and a hike discussing CCC contributions to the park.
