Rosa Lee McKenzie Morgan, 80, of Ten Mile, TN, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Athens Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of Cottonport Baptist Church. She worked at Simco in Athens and Factory Outlet Store in Dayton, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Bob” Jackson Holland and Annie Belle Jenkins Holland; her first husband, Weaver Preston McKenzie; granddaughter, Brandy Nicole (Sissy) McHone; sisters, Irene Wright, Madge Guinn and Virginia Jo Smith; brothers, Lawrence, J.R. and William J. (Bill) Holland.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert H. Morgan; two sons and one daughter-in-law, David McKenzie of Ten Mile and Robert and Brenda McKenzie of Decatur, TN; three daughters, Linda Hutsell, Kathy Womac, both of Ten Mile and Janice Lyke, of Lenoir City; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine Collier and Vance Owenby; special lifelong chosen sisters, Violet Jackson and Jeanette McNeely; and several nieces and nephews; including special niece and nephew, Becky and Billy Ray Redman.
Funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, June 28 at Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Norman Husky officiating. Interment will be 12 pm Saturday at Cottonport Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends form 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 28 at the Bowers Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.
