Check Into Cash Names Barbara Wolf Chief Marketing Officer

Barbara Wolf has joined Check Into Cash as the company’s first Chief Marketing Officer. Ms. Wolf previously served as vice president of Marketing and Product Development for Chicago-based PLS Financial Services, Inc.

Check Into Cash is one of America’s largest consumer financial services retailers, offering an array of affordable short-term lending solutions, as well as check cashing and other convenient services, at its more than 1,000 locations.

Ms. Wolf developed and implemented PLS’s marketing and communication strategy since 2006. A visionary and inspiring leader, Ms. Wolf built the PLS brand into one of the industry’s strongest, and oversaw $15 million in annual advertising and promotional support for the company’s more than 350 retail locations.

Prior to her tenure at PLS, Ms. Wolf held marketing leadership roles at Schering-Plough and Alliant Food Service. She earned a Master’s degree in marketing from DePaul University.
