Teresa Ann Robinson Baxter, 49, of Chattanooga, died on July 20, 2013 at a local hospital.  

She had lived most of her life in the Chattanooga area and had spent the last couple of years in Houston, and Chattanooga.  She was a 1982 graduate of City High School and she had worked at Dixie Industrial Coating.  Her passions in life were her family, friends, enjoying life in general, and she was the kind that never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her father, Doug Robinson; and ex-husband, Eddie Baxter.

Survivors include her children, Nicole Ledwell, Aaron Ledwell, Jessica Baxter, Adrian Baxter, Melody Kelley, and Joey Ledwell; mother, Linda Robinson; four grandchildren, Jalan Ledwell, Julian Church, Jalicia Ledwell, and Daeshaun Davenport; and fiancé, Bobby Swearingen.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, at 6 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.

Frances Hames Simmons, 92, died on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014, at her residence.  Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 27. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27, at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church with Reverend Joe Novenson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Monday at the church. Ja Coby Demarrge Evans, 30, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Floyd Medical Center. Mr. Evans was born Dec. 29, 1983, in Rome, Ga., the son of Stacey Dimaggio Evans and Monica Diane Ford.
