  • Tuesday, October 14, 2014

The sixth annual Lexus Champions for Charity Golf Tournament will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 4, to raise funds for the McKamey Animal Center. Hosted by Lexus of Chattanooga, the tournament will be held on the emerald hills of the Council Fire golf course, at 100 Council Fire Dr.  Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon.

The tournament format will be four-person team, select shot. Teams can register to play for $1,000, and businesses can become corporate sponsors by donation at various levels. Available sponsorship levels include Hole Sponsor ($300), Cart Sponsor ($2,000), Driving Range Sponsor ($3,000), and Major Sponsor ($5,000). Participants will be provided lunch by Texas Roadhouse and beverages by Budweiser of Chattanooga.

The event will feature a live auction. Attendees can bid on a two-person team entry to the National Lexus Champions for Charity event in Pebble Beach, California. The winners will play in a 54-hole tournament at Pebble Beach, Spyglass, and Spanish Bay golf courses for a chance to win part of a $100,000 prize.

Proceeds from the tournament will help McKamey Animal Center.

“We’re so excited to be a part of this event each year, and we encourage everyone to come out and join us for the tournament to help us save a few animals,” said Evann Gibson, service manager for Lexus of Chattanooga.

Interested participants can obtain more information on the tournament and register online at McKameyAnimalCenter.org.  For more information, please contact Mr. Gibson at egibson@lexusofchattanooga.net or 499-9095 ext. 1325.
