Jerry Lamar Webb, Sr., 72, of Varnell, GA, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Hamilton Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Jewel Webb; sisters, Mary Lee Cox, Evelyn Chastain, Henrietta White and Betty Richards; brothers, Alva Eugene Webb, Jr. and George H. Webb.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Dillard Webb of the residence; daughter and son-in-law, Myra and Anthony Smallwood of Calhoun; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry Jr. and Kristy Webb of Rome and Christopher Eric and Melissa Webb of Calhoun; grandchildren, Taylor, Steven, Zack, Aubrielle, Madeline, Eric Jr. Felicia and Cheyenne; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. 

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 29, at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Dillard officiating. Burial will be at Varnell Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Marty Webb, Anthony Smallwood, Taylor Sims, Doug Dillard, Alton Dillard and Zack Bishop.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the NW Georgia Parkinson’s Disease Association, P.O. Box 6044 Dalton, Georgia 30722.

Funeral arrangements are by Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove Chapel, Dalton.
