Jim Page
Jim Page, 82, of Rossville, Georgia, died on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in a local hospital.
He had lived most of his life on Lookout Mountain, Tn., but had lived in Rossville since 2008. His passions in life were mowing his lawn, watching the Braves games, riding his horse, and riding his great-grandchildren on his electric wheel chair at the recycle yard. He was a wonderful husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and loyal friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Johnnie Faye Page, granddaughter, Jacqueline Le Dean Page, parents, Charles and Mildred Page, three brothers, Freeman Page, D. L. Page and Archie Page, sisters, Betty Page and Melbalene Page and in-laws, John and Mary Palmer.
Survivors include his son, James L. Page, daughters, Debbie Johnson and Ruby Page, adopted son, daughter-in-law and baby, Cesar, Sonya and Saeny Compton, brother, Larry Page, sisters, Josephine Frashier, Margaret Sutphin, Ann Kinsey and Charlsie Shrader, grandchildren, James Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, James R. (Shkayia) Page and Tiffani Blake, great-grandchildren, Jackson Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Braden Johnson, Dash Johnson, Marisa Johnson, Keeley Page, Addie Page, Katie Page, Summer Painter and Dakota Wright as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Brother Michael Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery, Henagar, AL. Pallbearers will be Chuckie Frashier, Charles Page, Mike Sutphin, Jeff Sutphin, Cesar Compton, Zachery Turner and James Robert Page.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 21, from 4-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
