The Chattanooga Boys Choir hosts its 52nd Singing Christmas Tree on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre.  Joined by members of Ballet Tennessee, student musicians from the Chattanooga Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the UT-Chattanooga Percussion Ensemble, the choir will present holiday favorites from a variety of eras, traditions, and cultures.

There will be a special emphasis on percussion instruments and drum-themed literature, including several holiday selections arranged for percussion ensemble and choir.

Additional repertoire includes popular selections such as Carol of the Bells, Coventry Carol and the Little Drummer Boy.  The choir will also perform music from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker in a special setting realized with text and arranged for chorus.

Tickets range from $10-$30 and can be purchased at the Memorial Auditorium Box Office, by calling 800.514-3849, or online at www.chattanoogaonstage.com.
