The annual event, scheduled for December 12 at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, is blessed with plenty of Division I college talent. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. The game will again be telecast over a statewide network. Member stations include MyNetwork stations in Knoxville, Nashville, and Chattanooga, along with WAPK in the Tri Cities.

“We’re extremely excited about the talent that will be on the field for this year’s game,” explained Bill Marbet, executive director of the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association, the organization that coordinates the game. “I’m not sure we’ve ever had this many players committed to play major college football.”

Players and coaches will arrive in Cookeville on Tuesday evening, December 9. Practices will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning before Friday evening’s kickoff.
