Jack David Vance
Jack David Vance, 69, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Monday, December 15, 2014.
He was the son of the late Jack Desmond Vance and Mary Ruth Thomas Vance Williams and was preceded in death by a sister, Ramona Brag.
He was employed with CSX Transportation for over 31 years, was an avid golfer and a member of the Windstone Golf Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy as a corpsman and was attached for a time to the Paris Island Marine Base and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Copeland Vance; three sons, Michael, Jessie and Jeremy Vance; step-son, Michael Crough; three sisters, Monte Tarman, Ballwin, MO, B.J. Jones, Spanish Fort, AL and Julie Zeamer, Jasper, GA; brother, Steve Vance, Saraland, AL.
At David’s request, there will be no services.

Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
