Paul Brian Rector, 38, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Monday, December 15, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Connie Rector, sister, Kimberly Malone, maternal grandparents, Earl and Nina Johnson, paternal grandfather, Harold Rector and uncle, Gary Rector.

Brian attended Central High School and worked in construction for many years in the Chattanooga area. He loved sports especially football and was an avid outdoorsman.

Survivors include his father, Steve (Patsy) Rector, son, Austin Rector, daughter, Paige Smith, loving companion, Stephanie Russell, grandson, Trey Hamilton, paternal grandmother, JoAnn Rector, aunts Linda Rector, Beverly (Rick) Upton, Darlene Bono, uncle, Steve (Cherie) Johnson, nephew, Carlos Hall and niece, Felicia Norman.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend James Hutchings officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12–3 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
