Jean Edith Williams, 87, formerly of Collegedale, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Charlottesville, Virginia.
She was born in Bethel, N.Y. on May 23, 1927. Before retiring, she had lived in Collegedale where she was employed as an L.P.N. She was a member of Cohutta Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. D. Williams, brothers, Andrew, Edwin, and Arther Smith, and nephew, Eddie Smith.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela Robinson and Arlene (Randall) Bowen; grandchildren, Randall Bowen, Jr., Donald (Amanda) Bowen, Jonathan and Angela Robinson; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Connor, and Nathan Bowen; sister-in-law, Lillian Smith; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 28, at noon in the South Crest Chapel with interment to follow in Collegedale Memorial Park.
A reception will then be held at the Cohutta Seventh-day Adventist Church, 5027 Mt. Olivet Road, Cohutta, Ga. 30710.
