Forecast Says Chattanooga To Receive Less Than An Inch Of Snow

The latest forecast says Chattanooga is to receive less than an inch of snow on Tuesday.

Areas south of the city may see more snow accumulation.

The main snow activity is set for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Sunny skies return on Thursday.

Here is the latest forecast:

  • Today A chance of rain and snow before noon, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 44. North wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Tonight A slight chance of rain and snow before 10pm, then a chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 30. Northeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
  • Tuesday A chance of rain and snow before 1pm, then rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 37. North wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
  • Tuesday Night A chance of rain and snow before 7pm, then a chance of snow. Cloudy, with a low around 29. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
  • Wednesday Snow likely before 1pm, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 37. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
  • Wednesday Night A chance of snow, mainly before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
  • Thursday Mostly sunny, with a high near 47.
  • Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 29.
  • Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 49.
