Father Ryan Still Leads D-II Wrestlers

Ryan has 8 in Finals; McCallie is Second

FRANKLIN - On the strength of eight in Saturday's championship finals, Father Ryan (185) holds a 34.5 point lead over second place McCallie (150.5) and a 50 point lead ahead of third place Baylor here at the TSSAA D-II state traditional wrestling championship at the Williamson County Ag Expo Center.

"Overall, we wrestled well tonight putting eight in the finals, including key semifinal wins at 152 (Marcello Morrice, 4-2) and 160 (Nick Naughton, 4-3)," said Father Ryan coach Pat Simpson.  "And having our other five guys still alive in the consolations is also important."
