Winning Fantasy 5 Ticket Worth $646,000 Sold In Walker County

A winning Fantasy 5 ticket worth more than a half-million dollars was sold at a Walker County store. Favorite Market #3640, at 8040 N. Highway 27 in Rock Spring, sold a Quik Pik ticket, matching all five winning numbers, worth $646,611 from the Feb. 10 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The winner, Belinda Thurman of Chatsworth, claimed her prize Feb. 14, at the Georgia Lottery District Office in Dalton.

Winning numbers from the Feb. 10 Fantasy 5 drawing were: 7-9-10-32-33.

 

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $15 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
