Corker Says U.S. Should Help Ensure Ukraine Remains 1 Country

Senator Bob Corker made the following statement regarding the latest events in Ukraine:

“The United States should do everything possible to ensure Ukraine remains one country and that their territorial and political integrity is maintained, allowing them the freedom to choose a future within Europe. We would hope that Yanukovych - knowing that remaining in his post will divide the country - would do what is right and resign, allowing for the acting president to fulfill his role before free and fair elections occur in May."
