Fire Breaks Out At Rear Of Golden Corral In Cleveland

A fire broke out at the rear of the Cleveland Golden Corral on Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 2 p.m., Bradley County EMS responded one ambulance to a reported fire at the Golden Corral on Stuart Road. When EMS arrived on the scene there were several fire apparatus already there. The fire was concentrated to the back of the building. All customers and employees were evacuated on EMS arrival. There were flames coming from the roof on the rear of the building.

Stan Clark of Bradley County EMS said, "The Cleveland Fire Department did a great job getting the fire under control. Our job was to be available to provide medical support if needed for any of the firefighters and/or pedestrians. We had no injuries during the event."

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
