Scenic City Art Car Weekend Is Friday And Saturday

The Scenic City Art Car Weekend will be held Friday and Saturday in downtown Chattanooga.  Events are free to attend. 

There will be a sneak peek of the art cars on Friday at the Art Car Ball from 7-10 p.m. at Miller Plaza. This free evening includes costumes, dance music, and cars that light up in the night. There will be trophies and bragging rights for the most creative attire.  

Proceeds from food and beverage sales benefit the Urban Art Bike Workshops and other Art 120 programs. 

There will be a tailgate party at Majestic 12 parking lot across from the Creative Discovery Museum on Saturday from 9 a.m.-noon, followed by a parade to Main Street.


Forum To Discuss Superintendent Finalists To Be Held Wednesday

Priceless Pets Continues Saturday at the Walker County Animal Shelter

The Walker County Animal Shelter had 124 people visit the shelter and adopt 12 dogs and 14 cats on their first day of the free adoption promotion "Priceless Pets." Motorcyclist Dies After Crossing Center Line On Bonny Oaks Drive

A motorcyclist died after crossing the center line on Bonny Oaks Drive on Friday night.
