Youth Sunday At Signal Mountain Presbyterian

Youth Sunday will be observed Sunday at the 8:15 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. worship services at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, 612 James Blvd. Graduating seniors will be honored. Sunday School is at 9:15 a.m.

A new Women of the Word Bible study will begin Thursday, April 24 and continue through May 15. The new study is the Beth Moore DVD series, "He Is." The fee is $10. Child care is available if registered by April 20.

Trustee To Be Appointed To Oversee Hutcheson Medical Center Bankruptcy With Focus On Sale Of Fort Oglethorpe Hospital

A trustee will be appointed to oversee the bankruptcy case of Hutcheson Medical Center with a focus on getting the financially-strapped Fort Oglethorpe hospital sold. Civic and political leader Mai Bell Hurley has died at age 87. She was the first woman to serve on the Chattanooga City Council.
