"Your King Is Coming" Will Be Topic Sunday At First Baptist

Dr. Thomas Quisenberry will speak at First Baptist Church, 401 Gateway Ave., on "Your King is Coming" Sunday with texts from Matthew 21:1-11 and Philippians 2:5-11.  The service will begin with a procession of palms into the sanctuary.  Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. and Fellowship Time at 10:30 a.m.

Thursday, April 17, a Holy Week Service, "Bread of the World, in Mercy Broken," will be at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Saturday, April 19, The Hunt for Easter will be at 10 a.

m. to noon in the Fellowship Hall.  Preschool and elementary age children will interact in ways that will teach them what Christ experienced before he rose from the dead on Easter morning.  Bring your basket for the Easter Egg Hunt. There will be goodies and fun for everyone.

Federal Judge Stops Erlanger Foreclosure Of Hutcheson Hospital

In a ruling Friday, a Federal Court Judge in Rome agreed with Hutcheson Medical Center and Regions Bank to grant the request for an injunction, effectively stopping the foreclosure efforts of Erlanger Health System against Hutcheson.
