Dr. Thomas Quisenberry will speak at First Baptist Church, 401 Gateway Ave., on "Your King is Coming" Sunday with texts from Matthew 21:1-11 and Philippians 2:5-11. The service will begin with a procession of palms into the sanctuary. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m. and Fellowship Time at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday, April 17, a Holy Week Service, "Bread of the World, in Mercy Broken," will be at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.
Saturday, April 19, The Hunt for Easter will be at 10 a.m.
to noon in the Fellowship Hall. Preschool and elementary age children will interact in ways that will teach them what Christ experienced before he rose from the dead on Easter morning. Bring your basket for the Easter Egg Hunt. There will be goodies and fun for everyone.
