Lois Cash Lyday, 80, of Cloudland, Georgia, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 after an extended illness.
Mrs. Lyday was born Nov. 26, 1933, in Mentone, Al., the daughter of the late Louis Aubrey Cash and Gladys Key Cash. She was retired from Mohawk Industries.
She was a member of Mentone Community Church.
Other than her parents, Mrs. Lyday was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Taylor Lyday.
Mrs. Lyday is survived by a daughter, Judy Lyday; sisters, Elizabeth Joyce Langston, Clara Annette Bozeman, and Martha Hulgan.
Graveside and interment services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Bankhead Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tyler Meadows, Ethan Meadows, Steve Coyle, Nicholas Lind, Phil Green, Daniel Hunter, and Darvin Hulgan.
Mrs. Lyday will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, April 24.
The family respectfully requests no food. Visitation to be made at the funeral home only.
