Bond has been set at $50,000 for a Chattanooga man charged with the aggravated assault, kidnapping, and rape of a woman on Saturday.

According to police, 27-year-old Robert "Bobby" Alan Bradshaw drove a woman to his home and immediately told her that he would kill her if she did not do exactly what he told her to. She also said he told her he was a United States Marine.

She told police he began to repeatedly rape her while he held her throat.

Two days later, the victim said she went to talk to a friend at a downtown bar to get help contacting the police. While there, she said Bradshaw came up to her and hit her on the head, threatening to kill her if she reported the rape.

Later that day, she identified Bradshaw out of a photo lineup.

Bradshaw is scheduled to appear before General Sessions Court Judge David Bales on July 29.
