Troy Alley
Troy Alley, 85, of Chattanooga, died on Monday, August 18, 2014.
She was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church for over 60 years, andwas retired from S & H Green Stamps and Sears. She enjoyed shopping, reading, crosswords and spending time with her family. Troy was a kind and loving person, she had a generous heart and sweet spirit, some would say she was an angel on earth. She was very special and loved by all, and she will be missed greatly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Alley.
Survivors are her daughter, Sherry Highers; son, Winters (Margaret) Alley; grandchildren, Chris (Sarah) Highers, Amy Highers, Brooke Alley and Maria Alley; great-grandchildren, Mason Highers, Orville Alley; brother, Joe (Jill) Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Matthew Vandegriff officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family requests no fragrances or perfumes worn to services due to family members' allergies.
