Edwin Fulkerson Arrested On An Indecent Exposure Charge

Edwin Fulkerson has been arrested on a charge of indecent exposure in Dalton.

It was reported that a male was standing next to a tree exposing himself in the presence of a female in Civitan Park on Shugart Road on Aug. 5. This occurred around 5 a.m., and the victim could not give a detailed description of the offender.

Last Wednesday, at 11:45 a.m., it was reported that a male had exposed himself while in his car in the presence of a female in a parking lot on Shugart Road. The victim was able to give a detailed description of the offender and his vehicle.

Detectives were able to take this information and connect the vehicle involved to Edwin Fulkerson of Dalton.

Detectives were able to identify Fulkerson as the suspect and developed evidence to make the arrest.

Fulkerson was charged with felony indecent exposure, due to being charged in the past with the same offenses, and is currently on probation for those charges.

County To Spend $30,210 On Asbestos Removal Project At MLK Building

County government will spend $30,210 on asbestos removal at the MLK Building on Oak Street. Officials said during remodeling at the building between Georgia Avenue and Lindsay Street that some tile was disturbed.
