Barbara Ann “Bobbie” Ritchie, 71, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, died on Saturday, August 30, 2014.

She was a life-long resident of Fort Oglethorpe and Chickamauga.  She was a member of the Temple of Praise and had most recently attended The Restoration Center and was a member of the Young at Heart Group.  Her passions in life were God, church, her family, children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford May and mother, Margaret May Youmans. 

Survivors include her husband, Tony Ritchie, children, Annette (Rocky) Sanders and Lamar (Kathy) Johnson, all of Rossville, and Tony (Renee) Ritchie of Marion County, Tn., brother, Bill (Gail) May, of Rossville and sister, Faye (Doug) Reeves of Chickamauga, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Reverend Tim Ashley officiating.  Burial will follow at the Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park, Rossville.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Aug. 31, from 4-7 p.m. and Monday, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
