The Alvin C York Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Association will hold their annual summer picnic on Tuesday Aug, 12 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Collegedale City Hall Pavillon, 4910 Swinyar Dr., directly behind the Collegedale City Hall and Library.
All airborne paratroopers in the Chattanooga area and their families are invited to attend. "Please bring the entire family for this event. This pavillon area has one of the best children's playgrounds in Hamilton County," officials said.
