Chickamauga And Chattanooga National Military Park Celebrates 98th Birthday Of National Park Service With Fee Free Day

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park announced the waiver of entrance fees to enter Point Park on top of Lookout Mountain, Monday, Aug. 25.  Experience the majestic views from Chattanooga’s surrounding landscapes found in the nation’s first national military park.

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park Superintendent Brad Bennett invites the public for a very special day - the National Park Service’s 98th birthday. He said, "We encourage you to visit a park and join a ranger-led tour, take in the scenery, or visit one of the many museums throughout the country.  This fee-free Monday provides an opportunity for individuals and families alike to take an affordable day to explore a nearby national treasure."
