Remote Area Medical Event Offers Free Medical Care

Remote Area Medical (RAM), a non-profit, volunteer, medical relief corps, is sponsoring a two-day event at Ooltewah High School on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20-21, to provide free health, dental, and vision services and exams for underserved, uninsured, unemployed, and under-employed persons in Hamilton and surrounding counties. Women’s health care, eye exams, and eyeglasses will also be provided. There are no fee or eligibility requirements for those seeking services.

The doors to the Ooltewah High School gym, the site of the clinic, will open at 6 a.m.
