Booker T. Washington State Park will hold a ribbon cutting/open house ceremony to unveil its new remodeled Group Camp, renovated Group Lodge, and a new Aviary to celebrate National Public Lands Day on Saturdau, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Officials said, "This event will be fun as well as educational as park visitors will get to tour all the facilities and learn of the many ways that their families, organizations, and businesses can incorporate state parks into their daily calendars. Information on the amenities, reservation process, and applicable fees will also be shared.
