Child Struck By Car While Getting On School Bus In Cleveland

A child was struck by a school bus in Cleveland on Friday morning.
 
Just before 8 a.m., Bradley County EMS responded to a call with reports of a child struck by a car. The dispatch information was that the child was attempting to get on the school bus when she was hit.
 
The incident occurred at 2005 Wesland Dr.
in front of Park Town Apartments.
 
The six-year-old girl was transported to Children’s Hospital at Erlanger.

Stan Clark of Bradley County EMS said, “Drivers must be alert when it comes to our school zones and bus stops. Please obey those posted speed limits and pay extra attention when school buses are present.”
