The Chattanooga Roller Girls (CRG) presented a check for $1200 to local charity, Girls, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to "inspiring girls to be strong, smart and bold on their journey to self- discovery."

CRG closed out their 2014 season with five wins and two losses. Four of those wins were at home at the Chattanooga Convention Center in front of large, boisterous, derby loving crowds. The team is already gearing up for the 2015 season with an intake of a dozen skaters set to pass assessments to become "fresh meat".

CRG has one of the strongest fan bases in the roller derby community, which has steadily grown since the Chattanooga Roller Girls skated into town in 2009. Each year, the excitement has grown along with the fans, who number anywhere from 800-1000+ at every home game. "The family-friendly, fast-paced bouts are a great, inexpensive way to spend a Saturday night," said 'The mBOMBinator', Shawn Williamson.

Not only are the Chattanooga Roller Girls tough and fierce competitors on the derby track, they are also conscientious and passionate contributors within the community. The team supports local organizations by participating in events and donating a portion of the proceeds from home bouts to local charities.
