Margaret M. Lively, 86, of Ocoee, TN, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014.
She and her late husband, James were owners of Lively’s Restaurant for more than 27 years. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church near Benton. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bridgemakers, Senior Circle, and Happy Hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Lively, Sr.; parents, Archie and Viola Rogers Maynor; sister, Louise Parks; and brothers, Claude Maynor and Jimmy Maynor.
Survivors include her four children, James Edward Lively, Jr. and wife, Liz of Lafayette, GA, Lisa Price and husband Fred and Cathy Rogers and husband Billy, all of Benton and Andrew Lively and wife Wynetta of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Tracy, April and Eddie; two great-grandchildren, Montana and J.D.; sister, Mildred Jones of Benton; several nieces and nephews; and special caring friend, Mary Payne of Charleston.
The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 26, at Oak Grove Baptist Church near Benton with the Reverend Carl Duckworth and Pastor Ron McCormack officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
Her family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Friday, September 26 at the church prior to the service.
