Aubrey Dean Anderson, 81, of Chickamauga, died on Thursday, September 25, 2014.

He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas and was of the Protestant faith. He was a graduate of Chattanooga Valley High School Class of 50 and also attended McKenzie College. He was always very studious, enjoyed reading and had a passion for cars. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and was a Respiratory Therapist at Saint Catherine's Hospital in Chicago for more than 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Fletch" & Ola Mae Anderson and three brothers, Gene, Troy and Ray Anderson.

Survivors include his two sisters, Sheila and (Kenneth) Hickman of Chickamauga, and Pat Anderson of Rossville and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 29, in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Minister Ray Mabe officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and staff at Hospice of Chattanooga as well as NHC of Rossville for their care and compassion for Mr. Anderson during this difficult time.
