4-Story St. Elmo Commercial/Residential Project Gets Zoning Approval

A four-story commercial/residential project in St. Elmo gained zoning approval from the City Council on Tuesday night.

Developers Matt Winget and Paul Teruya are planning the project near the Incline Railway.

Architect Eric Myers said the building will be four stories from Old Mountain Road and three stories from 39th Street.

Mr. Myers said the section of Old Mountain Road in front of the project will be widened.

He said there were three meetings with the public on the venture.

There will be 5,000 square feet of commercial space with 27 residential units above.
