An Ooltewah man has been charged with taking the vehicle of a Home Depot employee who gave a ride to a female customer.

Christopher Lebron Walker, 21, of 8511 Old Cleveland Pike, is charged with carjacking.

Aaron Black said when he left work on Nov. 12 at 9 p.m. he noticed a customer sitting outside. He said he had helped her several times in the store. He agreed to give her a ride home. She was described as a white female, age 40-43, 5'6" and 230 pounds, with thin blonde hair.

While en route, she asked him to stop and pick up a man in the 8200 block of Old Cleveland Pike. He said he stopped and a white male entered the vehicle.

After driving a short distance, the white male put a small gray revolver to his head and told him to get out of the vehicle. He exited the black 2003 Saab and the man and woman drove off in it.

County Detective J. Wood said he was speaking to the victim when a man standing nearby told him the physical description matched that of Walker. The detective was able to locate Walker, who refused to be interviewed.

A mug shot of Walker was shown to the Home Depot employee and he said that is the man who held the gun on him and took his car.

The vehicle has still not been recovered.
