Dalton Police Seek Woman Who Took Employee’s Wallet From Subway Restaurant

The Dalton Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who stole an employee’s wallet from the Glenwood Avenue Subway restaurant. The wallet contained the employee’s cash, driver’s license, and bank cards.

The incident happened on Jan. 16, shortly after 2:15 p.m. A woman standing approximately 5’3" and weighing approximately 120 pounds asked to use the store phone. An employee let the suspect use the phone, and while talking, the suspect leaned over the counter and took a wallet out of the employee’s purse.

The suspect then left the store. The incident was recorded on the store’s surveillance system.
