David Bates
A 55-year-old Blue Ridge, Ga., man is charged with groping two female patients at Erlanger Hospital while his wife was sleeping in another room.
David Bates was charged with two counts of sexual battery.
Police said Bates went into the rooms of the two women and wound up fondling them over their gowns.
He told police "he doesn't think clearly when a woman shows him attention."
One woman said she slapped his hand when he attempted to grab for her chest.
She said she later was sleeping and woke up finding Bates sitting on the side of her bed and fondling her breast over her gown.
She slapped his hand and told him to get out of her room.
