The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team finishes its fall competition at the Georgia Southern Invitational this weekend. Action takes place on Oct. 23-25 in Statesboro, Ga.
Seven individuals and three doubles teams are competing in the tournament. Other schools participating include host Eagles, Kennesaw State, The Citadel and the Savannah College of Art & Design.
Seniors Nick Wingord, Luke Saunders and John Peacey lead The UTC contingent that also includes juniors Derrick Brown and Lucas Plesky, sophomore Michael Birnbaum and freshman Paul LaHue.
Plesky and Wingord are teaming up in doubles, along with Peacey-LaHue and Brown-Saunders.
Friday begins with two singles rounds in the morning, followed by consolations at Noon. There are also two doubles rounds scheduled for the afternoon.
