Brian Clark, a current senior at Farragut High School (Knoxville) recently signed scholarship papers and will bring his golf talent to Lee University and play for head coach John Maupin.
During his four-year career at Farragut, the Admirals claimed one state championship and were runner-up on three other occasions. As a sophomore Clark earned TSSAA All-State honors and placed second during individual district championship competition as a senior.
"Brian is a tremendous addition to our program," Lee's Maupin said.
"He has the game to come in and make an impact from day one. He has proven himself as one of the best juniors in the state and he also has high-level- team-golf experience. Farragut is one of the top high school programs in the state, and they compete for the state championship every year. We love bringing in someone that understands the importance of team golf."
"Brian is also very well-rounded, and someone we thought fit in well with the guys we already have. We had a chance to watch Brian play several times this summer and we were very excited when he decided to commit."
