Distinguished Young Women of Soddy Daisy Scholarship Program (formerly Junior Miss) will hold an Information Meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 8, at 6:30 p.m. at Soddy Elementary school, 260 School St. in Soddy Daisy.
Junior girls living in zip codes 37343, 37373, 37379, 37384 are eligible to apply. Practices will begin on Jan. 9, 2016 culminating on program night, March 19, when college scholarships will be awarded.
Lots of information will be presented as well as hearing from previous contestants.
